volWe are delighted to announce that in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for 2011, the Volunteer Service for Garden House Hospice have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service which is regarded as the MBE for Volunteer Groups.  Congratulations to all our Volunteers for this well deserved award in recognition of their hard work undertaken for the Hospice.

Volunteers play an enormous part in helping the Hospice to run smoothly and efficiently, giving their time freely.

Volunteers make a huge contribution, performing a wide range of roles both within the hospice and as part of our retail team in our shops and distribution centre.

At the moment we are interested in hearing from people wishing to volunteer their skills in hairdressing, beauty and complementary therapies.
